Today's Climate, Tomorrow's Vision

For Climate Week, Fishbear Studios alongside Indigenous Climate Action and Medicine Walls will collaborate to host an Art Day at THE DOJO in Brooklyn. Our goal is to inspire conversation about how we can envision a radical and sustainable tomorrow when we use art as strategy. We will lead a mass‑mobilization art build, teaching a variety of creative resistance methods including banner design, hand‑sign creation, wheat‑pasting techniques, and screen printing. Jackie Fawn will debut a brand‑new illustration commemorating the 10th anniversary of Standing Rock and celebrating the beginning of her Warrior Woman series. We will bring this illustration to host a free screen‑printing session where participants can either print on their own shirts or receive a complimentary patch created during the activity.
