Understanding & Working with PHPP (120B) Online – Nov 2026
About this event
An online course from Passive House Canada on working with PHPP, covering its structure, inputs and outputs, how to select appropriate climate data sets and how to record building measurements.
Participants model a sample Canadian project, assessing building heat loss, energy demand and summertime overheating risk, and look at the reliability of data sources and how design decisions affect energy demand. Topics include treated floor areas and U-values, thermal bridging, ground calculations, windows, shading and ventilation, heating and cooling loads, domestic hot water, and renewable energy (PER). Pricing depends on Passive House Canada membership.
