Hosted by the International Matcha Association, this invitation-only guided specialty matcha tasting invites government, COP, and climate leaders to taste and compare hundreds of carefully selected matcha side by side — exploring not only differences in flavor, but the nature, producers, culture, and craftsmanship behind each bowl. As Climate Week NYC convenes the world around a new food system, matcha offers a living lens on biodiversity, regenerative agriculture, quality, and community. Guided by specialists, guests will learn to read matcha the way a taster does, and to understand how the choices of producers shape both flavor and the land.
