Jumpstart Integrated Design Process for Retrofits
About this event
A free online webinar from the Community Energy Association on using an Integrated Design Process (IDP) to deliver home renovation projects on time and on budget. It is aimed at contractors, renovators, new home builders, trades, architects, designers, engineers and energy advisors, as well as educators and local government and Indigenous community staff involved in planning, permitting and climate action.
Meredith Hamstead of thinkBright Homes shares how IDP helps her catch issues early, improve coordination and make informed decisions across a project, and introduces the new Retrofit Jumpstart IDP Guide. Topics include reducing project risk, collaboration across project teams and the value of early decision-making. The session is approved for BC Housing CPD points, and all registrants receive the slides and a recording.
