in Edmonton, AB Join the City of Edmonton’s Waste Reduction Network to hear from Explore Edmonton and Reimagined Fabrics, two members who are contributing to Edmonton’s circular economy. Avash from Explore Edmonton will share insights and key takeaways from their shift to using reusables at Sari Sari, a Filipino market and food festival here in Edmonton. Michelle from Reimagined Fabrics will reveal the details of one of the largest polluting industries: textiles and what we can do to ensure that we are not part of the problem. Michelle will also lead a mending workshop. Bring one item to mend or use the mending kit provided to learn Visible Mending techniques. You’ll leave with a mended garment or a patch to apply at home, and skills to repair your own clothes! please note the new location: City of Edmonton Reuse Centre | 6835 83 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6C 2X9
