Zero Carbon Building Standards Interactive Workshop
About this event
An online workshop from the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC) on applying the CAGBC Zero Carbon Building Standards (ZCB-Standards). It is aimed at practitioners who already have foundational knowledge of embodied carbon, transition planning, the zero-carbon balance and TEDI, and it is the final requirement of CAGBC's Zero Carbon Building Essentials Micro-Credential.
Over two sessions of two and a half hours, participants work through case studies using the ZCB Workbooks and learn the core requirements, guidelines and process for ZCB-Design v4 and ZCB-Performance v2 certification. Course materials are provided digitally, and the micro-credential requires passing an online quiz after the workshop with a grade of 80 percent. Adam Stoker, a senior sustainable infrastructure engineer with the City of Calgary, instructs. Registration closes November 13.
