Virtual Workshop: "Fostering Sustainable Behavior" Community-Based Social Marketing with Dr. Doug McKenzie-Mohr
About this event
An introductory virtual workshop on community-based social marketing (CBSM), led by its founder, Dr. Doug McKenzie-Mohr. It is aimed at people who design or fund programs that encourage environmentally protective behaviour.
Held over Zoom in three four-hour sessions across three days, the workshop covers the five steps of CBSM: selecting behaviours, identifying barriers, developing strategies, conducting pilots and broad-scale implementation. Case studies from around the world are paired with time to discuss participants' own programs. Attendees receive a certificate of completion and a copy of the fourth edition of Fostering Sustainable Behavior. The listing comes from the Recycling Council of Alberta (RCA) events calendar, which offers a discount code.
