The New B Corp Standards: Module 1 - Approaching the New Standard and the Foundation Requirements

The first webinar in B Local BC's five-part virtual series on the new B Corp standards, open to certified B Corps, companies recertifying, and anyone considering certification. It serves as an orientation to the assessment tool and the seven impact topics, showing that the new standards are a more manageable job than they first appear.

The session walks through how the assessment is structured, how the impact topics relate and overlap, which requirements apply based on company size and sector track, and how to read the standards as a management system rather than a compliance checklist. Companies that are already certified see how their existing policies and practices carry over to the new requirements. Each monthly session stands on its own, and pre-registration is required.
