The Degrees Initiative looks back: 15 years of SRM research and engagement in the Global South

Climate Week marks 15 years since Degrees started its work in the Global South - join us as we look back and push forward. What started with a modest engagement workshop in Delhi with CEEW has grown into a global initiative with over 40 funded research projects, and new experts in every corner of the planet. Join us as Southern SRM experts reflect on growing climate risk, the controversy of SRM, building a global community, and the next steps towards truly global evaluation. About the Degrees Initiative Since 2011, Degrees has led the world in building the capacity of developing countries to ask their own questions and do their own research, ensuring informed and confident representation in global discussions. We fund research, run engagement workshops and build communities, creating networks of independent experts.
