Simple IDP: Easy steps to an Integrated Design Process – Invermere
About this event
An in-person, half-day workshop from the Community Energy Association (CEA) on using an Integrated Design Process (IDP) to plan renovations and new homes. It is aimed at contractors, renovators, builders and trades, architects, designers, engineers and energy advisors, educators, and local government and Indigenous community staff working on planning, permitting, construction and climate action.
Through an interactive case study, participants work on identifying issues early, improving coordination across project teams and making decisions that improve project performance and open the way to higher-performing homes. The session is approved for BC Housing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, and breakfast is included. A second session runs in Fernie on October 29.
