Purpose Connections: The Road to 2030 — Where Are We Now?

About this event
This free, one-hour webinar looks at how much progress the world has made toward the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and what business needs to do differently now. It is part of Purpose Connections, a webinar series from Sparx Publishing Group for social purpose leaders, professionals, and advocates working in the purpose economy.
The session opens with a global view: what the latest evidence shows about progress toward the SDGs, where there is meaningful movement, where the gaps are, and what is getting in the way. It then turns to Canada, looking at where momentum is building in the Canadian business community, where businesses are struggling, and what the current economic and geopolitical climate means for sustainable business leadership.
Tessa Vanderkop and Sparx Publishing Group host the conversation with Salma Boudina, Interim Director of Programmes at UN Global Compact Canada, and Heidi Sanborn, founding CEO of the National Stewardship Action Council (NSAC) and co-founder of the California Product Stewardship Council (CPSC). It runs on Zoom, and recordings of earlier sessions are on the Sparx Publishing Group website.
