Immorality of Inaction: Voicing Truth on Climate
About this event
The continued inaction of policymakers in the face of the climate emergency is a moral failure. We have the scientific knowledge, technology and financial resources to mitigate fossil fuel emissions, protect communities and prevent ecosystem collapse. Yet action from policymakers remains profoundly insufficient. Together, we can build the public pressure needed to move them from delay to decisive action. Join us on Friday, September 18, at the historic Riverside Church in New York for “Immorality of Inaction: Voicing Truth on Climate.” This gathering will bring together advocates, faith and spiritual leaders, artists, and policymakers to generate a moral response to the climate emergency. Through speech, story, and song, we will foster the connections needed to sustain our collective work for climate justice.
