Home Resilience Hub: Get Your Home Climate-Ready

About this event
A free drop-in marketplace at the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) in Toronto for homeowners who want to prepare their homes for a changing climate. Around a dozen expert organizations and local businesses cover flood resilience, home energy efficiency, rebates and climate-ready home improvements, with the aim of helping visitors move from awareness to action in a single visit.
Visitors can drop in any time between 11 am and 4 pm. A speaker spotlight from noon to 1 pm features groups including The Atmospheric Fund, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Sustainable Buildings Canada, the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR) and the City of Toronto, and free 15-minute one-on-one sessions with an expert are offered first come, first served. The event is sponsored by RBC and is part of CSI's We Create Our Futures festival, October 16 to 18.
