Climate Week: Guided Birding tour at Governors Island Park
About this event
During Climate Week, Lower East Side Ecology Center is pleased to present a day of birdwatching with LESC and Elijah Shiffer. In September, the fall bird migration is well underway, with more than 100 species passing through New York’s parks and gardens on their way to their fall grounds. Join Elijah Shiffer to observe the many species of birds stopping by Governors Island Park and its native plants for some nourishment and rest. Bring binoculars and a camera if you have them.
