About this event

Today’s built environment is responsible for approximately 40% of global energy use, 50% of raw material extraction, and is one of the leading drivers of habitat loss and biodiversity decline. Over the past year, the Biomimicry Institute, supported by the Bedari Collective, has convened architects, engineers, city planners, infrastructure experts, and policymakers from across the globe to establish a shared definition and standard for what “nature positive” means in the built environment. Join the official launch of the Nature Positive Buildings, Cities & Infrastructure Alliance. Through an engaging and thoughtful panel of experts, attendees will discover how biomimicry can help redesign the built environment, and in doing so, reshape our future and relationship with nature.
