Adaptive equity: meeting the moment together - Toronto

About this event
An in-person Community of Practice session from the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) for people working in diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA). It looks at how practitioners can adapt and respond as communities, workplaces and social realities shift, drawing on adaptive leadership, systems thinking and DEIA practice.
Over three hours, participants explore the difference between technical problems and adaptive challenges, examine the pressures shaping today's DEIA landscape, apply an Adaptive Equity Cycle to real organizational challenges and develop a practical plan for sustaining momentum and accountability. The session is offered in English at the George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre in Toronto. Registration closes October 20, 2026, and the session qualifies for CCIP.D professional development credit.
