4th SDSN Kazakhstan Conference: Accelerating the SDGs

The fourth annual conference of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Kazakhstan looks at how science, partnerships and practical initiatives can speed progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. It brings together government, universities, research institutions, international organizations, the private sector, youth and civil society.

Held in a hybrid format at Almaty Management University, the two-day programme covers four research areas: resource scarcity, including water security, climate adaptation, clean energy and the circular economy; health, well-being and resilient communities; sustainable solutions, from ESG and sustainable finance to responsible business models; and youth action and climate education. Sessions include oral, panel and poster presentations and a Youth Research Showcase, in English, Kazakh and Russian.
